I got all the framed print orders packaged and to the Post Office, and made the savory palmiers. I don't think I'll be making them again. They were just okay, but nothing to write home about. Ed liked them and ate a bunch, but they seemed to lack the flavor I hoped they would have. Comments on the recipe page were varied, but there were several who had the same opinion. Also, Ina's looked prettier.

Ed changed the breaks on his truck, hooked up the hot water heater and convection oven in my studio addition, and after dinner went to the neighborhood council meeting (I used to be secretary on the board) and he came home with a printout of the monthly crime report. Auto and home break-ins seem to be on the rise, but that's typical for this time of year. After having a gift card stolen out of a Christmas card in our mailbox a few years ago I put a mail alarm on the mailbox door and soon after installed a security cam doorbell.

We're finishing off our evening with an episode of Live PD Cam we had recorded on the TiVo, which I'm pretty much ignoring while typing this post. I look up at the exciting parts.

Tomorrow I plan to do something creative. It's been a few days and I'm itching to make something with paint or soft pastel.
