Dear USPS:

It's ridiculous that I have to include this warning note with my jewelry customer shipping notifications going to the Bronx and Long Island: "IMPORTANT: Your package should arrive in 3-5 days, but if it is routed via the Bethpage, NY USPS it could delay delivery by as much as 5-7 additional days. This hub is notoriously problematic and there is no way of knowing which hub a package will be processed through. Please keep your tracking #. Thank you - Beth"

I had to refund an irate customer because of this latest delay. I'm losing money and customers due to #BethpageNYUSPS. It's terrible.

The Bethpage, NY USPS processing hub is AWFUL. Google is littered with complaints about them. Twice now my ring orders have spent more than a WEEK just sitting at this hub due to a "processing exception." I use high-quality shipping labels printed on a laser printer, do NOT put clear tape over the barcode and use a standard 5 x 7 mailing envelope. A USPS employee says that a "processing exception" means a machine is not reading the label correctly and it gets stuck in an endless processing loop, until an actual person retrieves it. Outdated/faulty equipment? Inept, apathetic employees? I have sent over 150 similar envelopes all over the US and World with NO problems, except for Bethpage.
